Why ATCA is following the cosmic Cow

AT2018cow, nicknamed "the Cow" was an incredibly luminous event, brighter than almost any supernova ever seen before. An international network of telescopes including ATCA (the Australia Telescope Compact Array) has been deployed to gather data on this curious object.
