2022 Australasian "Orange" Pulsar & FRB workshop

09:30 Tue 01 Nov to 17:00 Wed 02 Nov 2022

Parkes Observatory Visitors Centre

The Australasian "Orange" Pulsar Meeting is a fortnightly telecon among the Australasian pulsar community. Before the COVID-19 pandemic, an in-person workshop was held semi-regularly, bringing together theorists and observers to discuss the most recent developments in pulsar and FRB science. The last two years have seen significant challenges with the COVID-19 pandemic, but also significant progress in the community, driven by developments in facilities, instrumentation, computing resources, and progress toward realising the SKA.

We are once again holding an in-person Orange Workshop. The workshop will be held November 1-2 2022, at the CSIRO Parkes Observatory Visitors Centre. The workshop will be held in a hybrid format, cast via Cisco Webex for remote participants, and will consist of contributed presentations and discussion sessions. In-person attendees may have the opportunity to tour the telescope, subject to constraints from ongoing CryoPAF commissioning work occurring during the meeting.
