We're pleased to announce that proposals for ATNF observing time are now open for the 2023OCT semester. Grab your chance to use one of the world's most advanced radio astronomy facilities.

Apply now for the:
* Australian SKA Pathfinder (ASKAP) -- including ASKAP Guest Science time
* Australia Telescope Compact Array (ATCA)
* Parkes 64-m telescope, Murriyang -- including CryoPAF
* Tidbinbilla 70-m and 34-m antennas; and
* Long Baseline Array (VLBI)

Mark your calendars: the deadline for all proposals is 07:00 UT (17:00 Sydney local time) on Thursday, 15 June 2023.

To submit your proposal, visit our online proposal application system, OPAL. Go to http://opal.atnf.csiro.au.

Important Changes for 2023OCT:

* ASKAP Guest Science time is now open for proposals, allowing you to dedicate up to 150 hours to your research.
* The revolutionary Cryogenically Cooled Phased Array Feed (CryoPAF) will be installed on the Parkes 64-m telescope, Murriyang, in August 2023. Submt your expressions of interest for shared-risk CryoPAF time during the second half of 2023OCT (January through March 2024).
* Get ready for the future: In 2024APR, we plan to introduce a brand-new Longterm Project scheme. We want your pilot projects that could potentially transition into Longterm Projects.
* To ensure fairness, ATNF proposals are completely anonymised. The ATNF TAC retains the right to reduce scores for proposals that reveal applicant identities.
* We're now offering an optional LaTeX template for ATNF scientific justifications, complete with BibTeX setup to support anonymisation. It's never been easier to showcase your research.
