CSIRO Australia Telescope National Facility will hold a Mopra Training Day on 25 March 2008 at its Headquarters in Marsfield, Sydney. The training is for all Mopra users as well as other interested astronomers and students. There will be a series of tutorials that take you step-by-step through the Mopra observing process from preparing observing schedules and online observing to quick-look data reduction. There will also be more advanced tutorials on atmospheric calibration, data analysis and the Python programming language. The tutorials will be given by expert Mopra users and operational staff and there will be ample time set aside for discussion. | ||
