What if I cannot bring my school to Marsfield? Can we still participate in the project?

For Round One slots (April - October 2008) we are only able to accommodate NSW school that can visit the ATNF Headquarters at Marsfield in Sydney. Round One observing slots are open for students in Years 11 or 12 studying Stage 6 Physics. If your school is unable to visit Marsfield or is interstate you may still work through the online project materials and access the observations in the data archive.

We welcome expressions of interest from schools who are not able to come to Marsfield. For Round One we are actively seeking some schools who will use the online materials without the observing session to take part in education research on the effectiveness of the PULSE@Parkes project. Schools participating in the education research program may receive priority for observing slots in later rounds of the project.

In the future we hope to provide new observing centres in Canberra, Melbourne and Perth. We are also keen to carry out observing sessions from schools. If you wish to be notified of new developments or future observing rounds please contact:
