Will depend a bit on the weather. - A visit to a historic local monastery (Moni Kaltezion) via a bus. - At 7pm the local bishop will conduct a special evening service at the local church, to give you all a flavour of Greek culture that is heavily imbued with religion. - From 8pm till midnight is the conference dinner plus entertainment. 5. INTERNET The town has at least 4 internet cafes and I'll tryy to put a map on the web. The hotel Mainalon has broadband at ~E4 per hour. The Anaktorikon has free wireless access. The others only have telephones for dial-up. At the venue there will be a connection via the phone either regular dial-up οr ISDN. 6. MONEY Tripolis is literally riddled with banks and there are ATM machines with 24 hour operation everywhere. I counted at least 6 near the main square at the centre of town. 7. RECEPTION and REGISTRATION There is a reception and registration 5-9pm on Monday 11 June. It is at the "Filotechnikon". I will put an address and maps on the web and at each hotel. If lost just call me. 8, MORNING BUS The bus will leave Tripoli for Kerastari at 8:30am. Light breakfast will be available at the venue. Tripolis has very narrow streets and the best place to meet the bus in the morning is near the hotel Mainalon, outside the courthouse. Artemis and Anactorikon are very close. People from Alex and Galaxy have less tan 10 min walk. There are still details been worked out and will notify you or you'll find out when you get here.
