Results with the ATCA 3mm Prototype System (July 2001)

SiO (2-1) spectra of N6334 I(N) and AHSco

The SiO (2-1) spectra of N6334 I(N) and AHSco displayed below have been obtained on July 15, 2001, with the one baseline (CA03-CA04: 276m, 2 polarisations) 3mm prototype system of the Australia Telescope Compact Array.
The SiO (2-1 v=1) rest frequency is 86.243 GHz. The SiO (2-1 v=0) rest frequency is 86.847 GHz.

• Bandpass-calibrated SiO (2-1) emission spectra of N6334 I(N) (top) and the SiO maser AHSco (bottom). The black and red lines indicate the two polarisations. Only the 86.243 GHz SiO emission was clearly detected in AHSco.
