ATNF Science Program

Welcome to ATNF Science
We conduct world-class research in astrophysics, retaining astronomy's position as Australia's highest impact science and furthering our understanding of the Universe through innovative use of CSIRO's telescopes.
ATNF staff are involved in a number of astrophysics research projects. Students interested in taking up a research project with us are advised to look at our Graduate Student Program information.
The ATNF runs a Distinguished Visitor (DV) program under which some financial and logistical support is available to facilitate working visits by leading researchers.
The ATNF also does significant engineering and computing research and development.
We also organise conferences and meetings about astrophysics research and instrumentation.
