RADIO GALAXIES AND QUASARS
(original page by Raffaella Morganti)

Aims
- Aim of the "Radio Galaxies and Quasars" group is to study the characteristcs of the radio emission from galaxies and quasars with particular interest in:
- Morphology (on different linear scales), spectral index, polarization, radio cores and variability. This ranges from Centaurus A (studied with VLBI, ATCA and Parkes) to high redshift objects
- Comparison with the emission in other wavebands and test of the "Unified schemes" for radio loud Active Galactic Nuclei (AGN).
- Effect of environment on the properties of radio sources.
