"s2modes" is an internal working document describing the DAS to S2 interface
characteristics.  Its main content is a table setting out the principal DAS
output modes against the appropriate S2 recording mode.

"aptppr**" is a summary of a conference paper (http://www.atnf.csiro.au/apt,
then /meetings/apt95.html) giving an overview of the LBA DAS and its
capabilities.
