Next: Correlation Up: Australia Telescope National Facility Previous: The VLBI scheduler

Conditions for all potential users:

  1. Proposers must coordinate with the non-AT antenna groups for appropriate programme collaborations where use of non-AT antennas is proposed. Detailed information and contact persons may be obtained from the VLBI scheduler.
  2. At present, there can be no absentee observing and proposers are expected to participate in the observing. Personnel requirements can be quite large i.e. at least 1 person per antenna for each observing shift. The VLBI scheduler will coordinate the arrangements for observing.
  3. Proposing groups must be responsible for their own tape shipments and correlating arrangements. The VLBI scheduler can provide information and guidance.
  4. The provision of MkIII tapes is the responsibility of the proposer. S-2 S-VHS tapes are in limited supply and proposers may be required to provide additional tapes.
  5. S-2 and MkIII recording systems are not available at all antennas. Refer to Table 1 for details on availability.
  6. MkII VLBI will no longer be supported on the network and the MkII recording systems have been removed from most telescopes.
