| Commissioning of the Australian Square Kilometre Array Pathfinder (ASKAP) has taken place in stages, with more and more antennas being added into the array with time. The local birdlife was quick to identify an antenna that was not being regularly used, establishing a home in the "steel tree". Every effort was made not to disturb the nest until the eggs had hatched and all occupants of the nest had departed! |
