HIPASS Results
ATCA Results
Project C1341:
ATCA EW352-m array (beam = 157.7" x 117.7", natural weighting),
observed 25-01-2005, reduced 26-01-2005
IF2: wide-band 20-cm continuum (beam = 115.4" x 81.9", robust=0 weighting).
The integrated flux density of the continuum emission detected from IC1959
is about 5 mJy.
IRAS 12 microns < 5.080E-02 Jy,
IRAS 25 microns < 6.683E-02 Jy,
IRAS 60 microns = 5.124E-01 Jy,
IRAS 100 microns = 1.196E+00 Jy.
IC1959 (HIPASS J0333-50) is a barred spiral galaxy
(Type = SB(s)m: sp, optical diameter = 2.8' x 0.7', Dh75 = 6.1 Mpc).
