Surveys

Technical Auditing and Evaluaion
One of the basic functions of the EMT is to collect and collate reports from project groups investigating SKA concepts.  We are currently conducting two surveys.  One is a program audit to be filled in by group leaders, the other is a contact details and time resource form to be filled in by all technical personnel contributing to the SKA.  Our intention is to table the completed surveys (together with a summary) at the July 2001 Berkeley meeting of the ISSC.  To allow this target to be met I would appreciate your reply by 31 May 2001 .

Preliminary Program Audit
I am seeking your cooperation in completing the Preliminary SKA EMT Program Audit (link to the right).  This will allow the EMT to prepare a first-round report to the International SKA Steering Committee.  While Annual Detailed report submission will soon be mandatory for groups wishing to have their SKA concepts evaluated formally by the EMT and ISSC, the present short survey aims to give a rapid overview of current and past work.  It will yield valuable data about the SKA endeavour and should also assist in identifying appropriate format requirements for future surveys and reports.

Personnel Resource Survey
With the international SKA project expanding it will be very valuable to have a list of participating personnel.  Please encourage all of your colleagues working on the SKA to complete this short form.
