After the tour of the Murchison Radio
Observatory (MRO) was sadly cancelled due to poor weather, our visitors from the National
Astronomical Observatories of China (NAOC) were given a short tour of Perth.
Pictured here at Kings Park are - from left to right - Dr Phil Crosby (CASS),
Prof Jianxin Hao (NAOC, Deputy Director), Dr George Heald (CASS), and Prof
Xuelei Chen (PI of cosmic dark matter and dark energy group, NAOC, and PI
of the Tianlai Project, a 21cm intensity mapping experiment project). All
participated in the successful Australia-China
ACAMAR collaboration
workshop held last week.
