Space and Astronomy Antenna and Receiver Technologies Group

Our headquarters are located in the Sydney suburb of Marsfield, on Wattamatagal Country, at the CSIRO Radiophysics Lab.

Our Western Australian base for astronomy research and collaboration is in Kensington, Perth.

Parkes Observatory, just outside the central-west NSW town of Parkes, hosts Murriyang our 64-metre Parkes radio telescope.

Located on Gomeroi Country, our observatory has a long history and starry-eyed future.

Next to the national park in Gamileroi Country, is this gem of an observatory.

The New Norcia tracking station 130km NE of Perth is operated by CSIRO Space and Astronomy for the European Space Agency.
