Advice for CASS staff on using ePublish

From mid-July 2010 onwards, all publications that include an author with CSIRO as their affiliation should be entered into the CSIRO ePublish system. CSIRO staff are responsible for entering and updating the ePublish records. One CSIRO author (only) should take responsibility for entering, and updating, information on a paper in ePublish.

Request for Publications Information from external users

Please send publications information, for any publications that include data taken with ATNF facilities, but do not include CSIRO authors, directly to Julie Tesoriero (Julie.Tesoriero [@] csiro.au).

Where possible, authors are requested to one or more terms such as 'Australia Telescope Compact Array', 'Parkes radio telescope', 'Mopra radio telescope, 'ASKAP' in the ABSTRACT of their papers. This is to facilitate electronic searches for publications.

Acknowledgements

Observers are requested to acknowledge the Australia Telescope National Facility in any publications resulting from use of ATNF facilities, as follows:

The Australia Telescope Compact Array (/ Parkes radio telescope / Mopra radio telescope / Long Baseline Array) is part of the Australia Telescope National Facility which is funded by the Commonwealth of Australia for operation as a National Facility managed by CSIRO.

Publications which include data obtained through the National Facility archives for the Compact Array, Parkes spectral line data or Mopra should include an additional statement as follows:

This paper includes archived data obtained through the Australia Telescope Online Archive (http://atoa.atnf.csiro.au).

Publications which include archived Parkes pulsar data should include an additional statement as follows:

This paper includes archived data obtained through the Australia Telescope Online Archive and the CSIRO Data Access Portal (http://data.csiro.au).

Observers who have used the Mopra digital spectrometer (UNSW-MOPS) are requested to add the statement:

The University of New South Wales Digital Filter Bank used for the observations with the Mopra Telescope was provided with support from the Australian Research Council.
