The Australia Telescope Compact Array
Two antennas of CSIRO's Australia Telescope Compact Array (ATCA) illuminated by the setting Sun, with kangaroos in the foreground. - The photo above was taken by Angel Lopez-Sanchez (AAO/UMQ) - @El_Lobo_Rayado. The ATCA is a radio interferometer, consisting of six 22-m dishes, located just outside the town of Narrabri in New South Wales (NSW), Australia. Its angular resolution is as good as that of a 6-km diameter single dish telescope.
