SKA Key Science Workshop 2015
by Jill Rathborne (CASS)
The first SKA Key Science Workshop was recently held in Stockholm. More than 100 astronomers from around the world gathered to discuss and further develop Key Science Project (KSP) concepts for SKA phase 1. The first day of the meeting featured an overview from the SKA Office, followed by introductory talks from each of the science working groups. For the next two days participants broke into small discussion groups that focussed on developing KSP concepts, collaborations, and commensality. The final day of the meeting saw summary talks from each working groups and a whiteboard filled with great ideas.
