Welcome to Karen Lee-Waddell
Karen Lee-Waddell is one of our newest postdoctoral fellows at ATNF. She is part of the HI research team, working closely with Paolo Serra, and plans to use early science observations from ASKAP to understand the processes involved in galaxy evolution in group environments.

Karen just completed her PhD in August under the supervision of Kristine Spekkens in Kingston, Ontario. Her thesis research focused on gas-rich dwarf galaxies and tidal features in interacting galaxy groups. In her spare time, Karen is also an active reservist in the Royal Canadian Navy.
