Three ASKAP core antennas pointing
by Tobias Westmeier (ICRAR/UWA)
ASA participants inspect some of the ASKAP core antennas with both Mk1 and Mk2 Phased-Array Feeds (PAFs) shown pointing at the same source for the very first time. The three foreground antennas are (from left to right) No 3 (BETA), No 1 (BETA) and No 2 (Mk2 PAF). The antenna in the background is No 7. The Mk2 PAFs have overall much better performance than the Mk1 PAFs and will be rolled out on all ASKAP antennas.
