Earlier this month, Alex Gagliano presented a
poster at the American Astronomical Society (AAS) meeting in Orlando, Florida.
The poster showed the results of a study of the globular clusters in the
Coma cluster. The poster was based on the research he carried out with OCE
Postdoctoral Fellow Juan Madrid and Conor O'Neill, a student from the
University of Queensland. Alex is a third year student at Virginia Tech
University in the USA, and this was Alex's first AAS meeting. During the
meeting he was able to attend lots of talks and meet other researchers.
Alex received many questions and inquiries about his poster, visible on the
background. Overall, his first AAS presentation was very well received.
Well done Alex!
