| Supernova SN1987A: 30 years since discovery - Part I |

| The prompt radio burst, from Turtle et al. 1987, Nature 327,
38, with observations from Molonglo, Fleurs (both within 24 hours of the
optical SN announcement) and the Parkes-Tidbinbilla Interferometer (PTI) one
day later). This burst decayed away and was undetectable at Molonglo (and all
other radio telescopes) after September 1987 (Ball et al. 2001, ApJ, 549, 599).
