First signs of the earliest stars |
There has been quite a bit of media coverage about
the reported detection of signals from the earliest stars in the
Universe using the EDGES antenna at the Murchison
Radio-astronomy Observatory (MRO) in Western Australia.
In case you missed it, there's a
CSIRO blog covering the main points.
The image above (credit: N.R. Fuller, US National Science Foundation) is a rendering of how the first stars in the Universe may have impacted their environment. The full paper appears in this week's issue of Nature.
