Marsfield staff gathered on Friday to farewell Lisa Harvey-Smith
and congratulate her on her appointment as
Australia’s first Women in STEM Ambassador.
Lisa joined CSIRO nine years ago, and in that time has managed to cram in
roles as CSIRO's SKA Project Scientist, ASKAP Project Scientist,
chair of the ATNF Time Assignment Committee,
outreach and education activities, including involvement with
Stargazing Live, along the way winning
the 2016 Department of Industry, Innovation and Science Eureka Prize for the Promoting Understanding of Australian Science Research
and
writing a popular science book.
We wish her all the best in her new role.
