The
CASS Undergraduate Vacation Scholarship Program
is designed to provide students with the opportunity to work on real-world problems in a leading
research organisation. Each scholar undertakes a research project under the supervision of a CASS staff member.
Scholarships are for 10 weeks from late November to early February, with students based at
both the Sydney and Perth CASS sites. A highlight of the program is the opportunity for the
students to travel to the Australia Telescope Compact Array and carry out their own
observing program. The picture above shows the vacation students and supporting staff
