Scuplture by the Sea
It's not uncommon for locals in the area to describe CSIRO's Marsfield site as "that place with the satellite dishes". The "satellite dishes" are in fact two former 13.7m diameter Fleurs antennas which were re-located to Marsfield about 15 years ago. However, Sydney's annual Sculpture by the Sea, which is currently on display at Bondi, features the sculpture shown above, "Complex Nest" by Jakub Geltner, which makes creative use of some real satellite dishes!
