| International Day of Women and Girls in Astronomy |

The International Astronomical Union (IAU) is celebrating
Women and Girls in Astronomy Month throughout February.
In particular, today is being observed as Women and
Girls in Astronomy Day, in tandem with the
United Nations' International Day of Women and Girls in
Science.
