Astrophysics for curious kids
Under the Stars: Astrophysics for Bedtime transports curious kids and inquisitive adults on a journey through the night sky. Starting with the Earth, and asking why the sky is blue, the chapters work their way through the solar system, our Galaxy, and end up by tackling the size of the Universe. The book was written by Lisa Harvey-Smith who, prior to becoming the Australian Government's Ambassador for Women in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM), worked at CSIRO Astronomy and Space Science.
