The pro photographer David Magro recently came to the Paul Wild
observatory to host a couple of his night photography masterclasses,
and fourteen people from the town and surrounds came to site to learn
his techniques. Interest in photographing the telescope and night sky
has increased recently, due to others showing off their photos on
social media. We will be running roughly monthly events from now on,
with staff supervision, to ensure that those who come to take photos
can do so safely from good vantage points.
