| Acknowledging the traditional owners of the Marsfield site |
| CEO of the Metropolitan Local Aboriginal Land Council, Nathan Moran, unveils a plaque acknowledging the traditional owners of the Marsfield Site, the Wallamuttagal people, while CASS Director Douglas Bock and Marsfield Site Leader Mark Hedley look on. CSIRO sites around Australia have been unveiling plaques like this as part of CSIRO’s Reconciliation Action Plan. The design on the plaque, representing boomerangs and leaves of eucalyptus trees, was created by Karajarri man Marcus Lee. |
