ASKAP antennas in perspective
Compared to the Tidbinbilla 70m antenna, the Parkes 64m Dish, or the 22m diameter Compact Array and Mopra telescopes, it is easy to think of the 12m ASKAP antennas as being small. However, when you actually go and stand next to one, you appreciate they still are an impressive size -- as illustrated by the image above, taken during the visit of staff and students from the Pia Wadjarri Remote Community School.
