| From a distance, the Parkes telescope may appear to have an inner solid surface, but as this unusual view of the telescope shows, the perforated aluminium panels do allow a view through them. Shaun Amy snapped this view of the receiver cabin, noting that as a photographer you sometimes need to challenge yourself and avoid the iconic "postcard" shot. |
