| The Square Kilometre Array (SKA) calendar for 2020 celebrates the SKA family of pathfinder telescopes. March focuses on LOFAR (the Low Frequency Array), an SKA pathfinder with its core in the Netherlands but spread over seven countries across Europe. LOFAR uses two antenna designs to cover the frequency bands 10--80 MHz and 120--240 MHz (deliberately avoiding the FM band from 80 to 120 MHz). |
