| The Square Kilometre Array (SKA) calendar for 2020 celebrates the SKA family of pathfinder telescopes. June focuses on VERA (the VLBI Exploration of Radio Astrometry), an array for four 20m antennas in Japan. VERA uses the technique of Very Long Baseline Interferometry (VLBI) to study the three-dimensional structure of the Milky Way. |
