| This image, another from the CSIRO image library, shows the Australia Telescope Compact Array during its construction in the mid-to-late 1980s. This picture was taken looking to the east, with antennas CA01 and CA02 having installation of their dish panels completed, with CA03 in progress. The backing structure of CA04 (or possibly CA05) is visible on the ground. Two of the 96 old radioheliograph dishes can also be seen. |
