The 70 m Deep Space Network (DSN) radio telescope at the Canberra Deep Space Communication Complex (CDSCC), DSS-43, has been off-line most of this year for a Depot-Level Maintenance period. These activities are nearing their completion and the antenna has been taken for some "test drives" in elevation and azimuth on the path back to full operations. The CDSCC site at Tidbinbilla has a number of Ornamental Flowering Peach Trees (Prunus persica) which have been in full bloom in recent weeks. (Image credit: CSIRO/@CanberraDSN)
