To celebrate National Science Week,
a public webinar about the SKA took place last night,
titled "Exploring the Universe without even leaving home."
The speakers were
Mia Walker, MWA Engineer,
Vanessa Moss from CASS.
Carole Jackson, Director General, ASTRON, and
Fred Watson, Australia’s Astronomer at Large,
After short introductions by each of the speakers,
questions from thr on-line audience were presented to the speakers
by the MC, Chris Krishna-Pillay (who ended the evening with a
musical tribute to radio-astronomy!).
The event was recorded and details of how to view a recording
will be made available in the near future.
