The
Australia Telescope User Committee
has for almost three decades met twice a year to hear reports from
about ATNF's current status and future plans, but
yesterday's meeting was the first time the
Open Session was convened virtually. The current
restrictions in place due to COVID-19 resulted in ATUC
(like many other meetings) being held entirely by
video-conferencing and, with up to 75 participants --
a number of whom are shown above --
the event ran very smoothly. The presentations given
are available from the link above. ATUC will provide a
report to ATNF, which will formally reply, and these
documents will also be available from the ATUC webpage
in the coming weeks.
