Our Knowledge Our Way Guidelines showcase innovative ways in which
Indigenous people are working with, and strengthening, their knowledge to build
sustainable futures through their land and sea management.
Emma Burchill was commissioned to create this artwork for the guidelines to showcase
this future. Emma’s traditional family name is Jurramuli which means "Big Storm".
Emma lives in Mossman in the Far North of Queensland, Australia.
