| WA Governor visits the MRO |
| The Governor of Western Australia, the Honourable Kim Beazley AC, recently visited the Murchison Radio-astronomy Observatory. In addition to "driving" one of the ASKAP dishes, touring the central control building, and visiting the Murchison Wide-field Array, the Governor was given an explanation of SKA prototype Aperture Array Verfication System by Melanie Johnston-Hollitt and Rebecca Wheadon.
