| Moon-landing anniversary |
| This week marks the 52nd anniversary of the Apollo 11 Moon landing! The Visitor Centre exhibition at the Canberra Deep Space Communication Complex (CDSCC) has a 3.8 billion year old piece of lunar rock collected during the Apollo 11 mission. Sample 10072,80 was presented to the CDSCC in 1994 as a thanks to Australia for our role in space exploration. (Image credit: @CanberraDSN) |
