The Astronomy WA Astrofest is an annual event in Perth that sees thousands of people
enjoying the night sky and learning about astronomy and space research
in WA.
This year the weather was perfect for stargazing, which was provided
by an oval full of telescopes. Inside the stadium, the exhibition stalls put on quite a
show. CSIRO Space and Astronomy led three stalls: one on CSIRO, one on the SKA project in
Australia, and one on the Murchison Radio-astronomy Observatory.
