| US Ambassador visits Marsfield |
| US Ambassador Caroline Kennedy (left) and CSIRO Chief Executive Larry Marshall (right) visited the Marsfield site last week and our engineers showed a prototype of the "rocket" Phased Array Feed, which will be deployed next year on the Parkes radio telescope, Murriyang. The cryogenically cooled "CryoPAF" was recently installed in the focus cabin of The Dish for testing, but is now back in the lab in Sydney in preparation for its final fit-out. |
