Artists of the Wajarri Yamatji, traditional owners of the Murchison
Radio-astronomy site, have created a series of paintings that express
some of the researching occurring with the telescopes located there,
in particular, the ASKAP radio telescope. Here we share the second of
the series: Surrounded in dingo tracks, Phillipa Boddington – a
Wajarri nyarlu (woman) from the Murchison – shows signal waves coming
from young galaxies, which are helping scientists to understand these
galaxies and the gases they are made of.
