The Murchison Radio-astronomy Observatory (MRO) -- home to the ASKAP
telescope, the Murchison Widefield Array, and site of the SKA-Low
telescope -- is on Wajarri Yamaji Country in Western Australia.
The Pia Wadjarri community is close to the MRO, and each year CSIRO
researchers visit the Pia Wadjarri Remote Community school and take
the students on an excursion to the MRO.
In addition, this year students from the school visited Perth
as part of a joint science camp by arranged by Curtin
University and CSIRO.
During their trip, students joined in activities at Curtin and CSIRO
sites, visited the WA Museum Boola Bardip and the Perth science museum
Scitech, and also designed, built and launched some water rockets!

GLEAM-o-scope to explain mutli-wavelength views of
the sky to the students in the Pawsey Supercomputing Research Centre
visualisation space.
