Artists of the Wajarri Yamatji, traditional owners of the Murchison
Radio-astronomy site, have created a series of paintings that express
some of the researching occurring with the telescopes located there,
in particular, the ASKAP radio telescope. Here we share the third of
the series: Growing up in Mullewa, WA, Agnes Boddington saw all the
different colours of the night sky. The coloured dots represent the
stars and new stars forming. The GASKAP-OH team are watching gases in our own
Milky Way and tracing the gases change on its way to forming a star.
