| An ADAP earlier this year showed the SKA's Aperture Array Verification System (AAVS) 3 taking shape at Inyarrimanha Ilgari Bundara, the CSIRO Murchison Radio-astronomy Observatory. The log-periodic SKALA antennas are often dubbed Christmas Trees, and so at this time of year it is natural to decorate them with some tinsel and ornaments! (Image credit: Beth Cloake) |
