Exploring the Unknown with Radio Surveys: A Celebration of the Career of Ray Norris
is being held this week to celebrate the career of Ray Norris.
Ray moved to Australia to help build and commission the CSIRO Australia Telescope Compact Array
and in the last 40 years has contributed to many aspects of Australian astronomy.
The conference is based around the following themes, which have been prominent in Ray's career:
History and Future of Large Australian radio surveys,
Active Galactic Nuclei and Galaxy Evolution,
Machine learning, big data and citizen science, and
Indigenous and Cultural Astronomy.
