| Sydney Mardi Gras Parade |
| The Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras parade was held on Saturday evening. The parade featured over 200 floats and 12,500 marchers, including a team from CSIRO. The Sydney Spokes Cycling Club chose an astronomical theme for their float, entitled Ride with Universal Pride, with each bike carrying an object from our Solar System -- a planet, comets, and a rocket -- all orbiting the sun! |
